jandcembroidery
My dad asked if I would make my aunt a quilt for Christmas. I was a little nervouis since this was only about the 6th quilt I've ever made as a gift. Reproduction by jandcembroidery, on Flickr BOOYA. RitaR
Very happy quilt, would love to see a close up of the stitching.. we all started at the beginning so don't be bashful about your stitching. How did your Aunt like it??
jandcembroidery
Thanks. I like the civil war prints myself. I wasn't sure about all of the cheddar at first, but it grew on me after it was all done. I just realized that I make these quilts to give as gifts and don't take pictures. I can't find my quilting. jandcembroidery
Thanks Rita, She loved it. I'll post the stitching if I can find the pic. Might be on my other computer. I did a 3" star theme panto. I didn't think I'd ever finish! Can't wait to get a longarm. star panto by jandcembroidery, on Flickr

Primitive1
Wow, how pretty! You did this whole quilt on a domestic machine?

It takes me a while. I purchased a grace min-pini for my Janome 1600p and installed the stitch regulator. I have done one or two free motion but I don't think they turn out that well. I need some practice, so I stick with pantos. I'm really looking forward to getting a longarm.
