cmoore1223
This is a sample for one of the local shops and I have no idea what to do with it. Any and all suggestions are most welcomed and appreciated. She said that it doesn't have to be feathers. I do know how to do them. I really want to do something cool but I'm stumped. Primitive1
I think feathers would look really good especially in the neutral areas..
ffq-lar
Here are four different designs for the diamond shape. All start in the center and are continuous. The fabric looks Asian so my choice would be the simpler large leaf and the curl in the background square. Then you could stitch an arc in the background triangles and stitch a leafy swag--maybe with fern-y leaves to match the Asian feel of the fabric. Butterfly
I think feathers would be wonderful in the light area and cc the stars or I also like that top left design that Linda just drew. That would look cool. Jess
LadyLake
You could stitch a circle in the center of the star that separates the angled star arms from the center circle. Then stitch a dense texture in every other segment inside the circle. CC the remaining star arms. Stitch a rope-looking design on the block frame. Quilting Heidi
I agree with Jess. Top left design of Lindas and feathers in the light area. I always love Linda's drawings.

Visuals are very much appreciated. You guys are the best! I forgot to mention that the quilt is a small wall hanging and that there is only that one large star in the center.
