Design Boards? Which ones?

Recommended Posts

R and S boards are really nice and reasonably priced. One design that people really seem to like is the Swirls, the Baptist fan and the Clamshells are another two popular ones for traditional quilts. Patrica Ritter designer boards are also great. Just so many to choose from.

if it were me, which it will be soon, i would get the baptist fan and clam shell. which clam shell is up to you. i think i like the one with the more oriental look option - it costs more but i think it might be worth it cause it can look ike a completely different design.

BF and CS are 2 designs that are VERY HARD to freehand.

I have the Quiltazois and use their boards and those from R & S. Love them all.. there is a learnign curve when applied to Himself, it was just staying on the same side of the grooves.

I also like the thousands of patterns on the basic QZ and the cams to give even more patterns. All have suggestions, and can be used in another way, if you can come up wit.
