seakitten
This is the first time in a while that I've quilted one of my own. I am tempted to just bring it over to Hitomi, but it is for my daughter, so I should do it myself, but I am stumped. Any suggestions?
seakitten
I should never have upgraded iPhoto; can't figure out how to resize for post. Try again:

meg
I also have iPhoto. I export it from iPhoto and save it "Medium" size in Photo Booth and the file works everytime.

Hitomi
I would do a background fill in the white and something simple in the star or even a SID and some border design. Catherine, if you want to come over and do it on my IQ, there are alot of options there. We can have coffee
seakitten
Thanks H maybe I will. When would be good for you? I wanted something kind of fancy, but we can work with that.
dlnewell
I posted some pics of one I quilted last year. Go to the thread dated 9-10-2011. I'm not sure how to link to a previous post.
Corey
Hi Kath, hi Hitomi, Beautiful quilt, you will have so much fun quilting it with IQ. Pls post pics when done.
Guest Linda S
I can see feathered diamonds in the dahlia, cross hatch or background fill in the white, but if you want to go really fancy, I'd do a nice scroll motif in trapunto in that area and then backfill around it. Feather the border.

I am so jealous you have it at your disposal every day! Then, you two can just get together whenever, talk/do quilting...AND have Royal Kona coffee? I'm jealous!!!!! seakitten
Sheri, we have better than Royal Kona coffee -- we have fresh-roasted beans right our of Hitomi's back yard. I now sell all mine to Mountain Thunder (can you get that there?), as I am too OLD to pick coffee anymore!
