JenniferBernard
I didn't get to go to the Minnesota Quilters show in St. Cloud this year for the first time in many years. Grandma duty called and I got to have my 4 year old granddaughter, Margot, stay at my house for the first time. I was excited to take 2 first place ribbons on my outfits. The jacket on the right is the challenge fabric. The wall quilt in the center is a dimensional play quilt for Margot called Hollyhock Doll Picnic which didn't ribbon but is darn cute! RitaR
Oh so pretty, and well wroth the ribbons, both of you winners! I do have a question for Kathleen. Did you use traditional piecing on your quilt, or is it paper pieced? Beautiful work, you two!

JenniferBernard
The Hollyhock Dolls did win 1st place in the fabric challenge at MQS. I had to put it in the Art category at the Minnesota show. That category has very tough competition. It received all good judges comments.
