cristina68
Yes, it?s true, do you remember the quilt I posted a few days ago? I said it was a very beautiful quilt with an ordinary quilting. Well, the Patchwork fair or meeting took place last weekend and there were 8 prices. My client?s won the 5th. The best of all, there were nearly a hundred quilts and none of them but my clients? (9) were long arm quilted. I?ve got an extremely good response. Many people asked for business cards and they were very pleased at what they saw. You can see photos of the meeting and the quilts in the following link: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/559306670MQhZCK Best wishes
catsigler
Congratulations, Cristy! It's easy to see why that quilt won a ribbon. It doesn't look ordinary to me.

quiltmonkey
Patty, the "ordinary" quilt has the curved tessellation design with the feathers quilted in it. Here's a link: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2873177990097554658dEZltE Cristy, Congratulations on your recognition! You and your customer make a great team. I only see more wonderful things in your future. Get ready because you are going to be busy with more quilting customers!! I checked out all of your photos from the June quilt show. So many lovely quilts were there. Thanks for sharing them all with us.
PattyJo
Cristy - great job. I can see why you won the ribbon and why so many wanted your cards. Congratulations:)
Patch
WOW, Cristy!! That "ordinary" quilt is anything but! There is SO much motion in that quilt, I think it will fly off the line and into another quilt show soon. Whew! Better tie it down! Really, I agree with Shana, you two make a great team. The top is beautiful to begin with, but your quilting makes the quilt. Congratulations! it's no wonder that far-from-ordinary quilt won a prize.
