mscott2611
Ladies I thought I would give you all a laugh. As I am learning to use my IQ, I have this quilt to complete today and as I am loading it on my Millie I am looking at these borders. Mary

GMALKB
That will require some "creative quilting". Good luck !
jmcclannan
That is going to be a challenge for sure. Starch and steam as well as other good suggestions.

loraquilts
Wow, wish I could say I've never seen one of those, but seems like I get them all too often. I usually call the customer and tell her that there will either be ripples or tucks in her borders because they don't lie flat on the frame. Then I quilt the tar out of them. For some reason I always try to tell myself "I can quilt that out". Sometimes it just doesn't work. Good luck! I'm crying with you.
cegates
If IQ can fix that then I'm getting one. Carol
mscott2611
Well, I finished the bad borders quilt and thought I would post a couple of photos for you to see. Of course there was no way for ME to quilt out, I just don't have enough experience yet. I did my best. She wanted everything to do with fish so I pressed and starched and used a very dense fish panto in that border. Here are a couple of photos. chickenscratch
Looks good. I'm so glad you tamed the ruffles. They really wouldn't work well on that boy quilt.
mscott2611
Thank you Teresa for the kind words of praise I try to do the best I could with what I had received and the instructions I was given. Mary
