barbm
Now, THAT's what I'm talkin' about! Actually, Heidi, this all started with a pumpkin almost identical to yours - I stole it out of the background of a quilt at the County Fair. Whenever I would stitch it for someone on the practice fabric, they'd always say, "Cool! What else can you do? And can I try?" Of course, the answer is always YES! I do need to go dig out the one Laura Lee Fritz book I have somewhere - don't even know which one it is. Thanks, ladies, for all the great ideas - I knew who to come to for inspiration!:P:P Shannon - your last two posts came in while I was writing this - was wondering where the "pie" motif was..... You're the greatest!

bobbi
Hey Barb, what if you took those motif's Shannon showed you and drew them on your practice piece with blue pen...? Then they could trace them and feel accomplished... I would also show prospective buyers how to do an easy feather... isn't that the first thing we all want to learn? Shannon, you da bomb! Shar Schmutz
Barb, grab a child's coloring book and see how simple the line drawings are. You know, apples sheep, trees, things like that. They may inspire you some....
sewlinzi
I wish I could draw like Shannon, sigh! I was also going to suggest a child's easy colouring book. Maybe you could even trace a few out with blue pen.
