quiltlover03
Oh I am fine, squshed my finger and now have a blue fingernail and some incredible tenderness, but I won't do that agin so soon!
yankiequilter
OUCH! My tummy jumped into my throat when I read what happened, Monika. I can only imagine how painful that must be! I hope it heals up quickly and isn't too painful. If you got blood on the quilt, hydrogen peroxide should take it out and leave no residue or stain. Primitive1
You know, I think we get so comfortable with our machines that I for one forget that they can actually injure us! Everytime I clean out my bobbin area, I think of Amy and her finger back at one of the quilt shows...it reminds me to be more careful.
quiltlover03
Vicki that is one great example. I never turned off my machine when I did a deep cleaning, since I saw that, I turn her off. The buttons are so touchy! Btw...my finger is fine, seems the hopping foot caught the edge of my fingernail and gave it a good pounding, no matter how fast one reacts, it is never fast enough!
