SandraG
Please read the updated post below. I just got my official announcement that EQ7 will start shipping in June. The suggested retail price is 189.95. If you would like more info you can email me privately. If I have a minimum order of 4 I can get a discount. There will also be an upgrade for people who have EQ6. The suggested retail is 89.95. My prices: EQ7 full version will be $140.00 plus s/h Upgrade from EQ6 will be $65.00 plus s/h These prices are only good if I get my order in by May 31st. After that they go to regular retail prices. Sandra UPDATED PRICING! I noticed that Electric Quilt is offering the upgrade of EQ7 for $58.00. We will honor that price also. So our new pricing is: EQ7 upgrade $58.00 + shipping EQ7 full version $140.00 + shipping We are trying to find out the size and weight of the box to determine shipping. I have emailed my contact at the company. I am hoping we can fit it in a small flat rate box. I will let all of you know the cost of shipping as soon as we determine the least expensive way to ship the program. EQ5 users: If you want to upgrade to 7 you will have to purchase both the EQ6 and 7 upgrades. You have to have the numbers from the EQ6 program in order to upgrade. Or you can purchase the full version of EQ7. EQ6 users: You do not have to have EQ6 installed on your computer. However, you will need the EQ6 software available in order to type in the numbers during installation. If you have sent me a U2U or email, I am compiling my list and will be getting back with you in a day or two. Have a great day! Sandra

I've been using EQ6 and I like the sound of the new features. Actually, my EQ6 is an upgrade from my old EQ5. I've been using this software for a while and it's great. IQuiltToo
Sandra - wlll this work thru an iMac? Probably will have to use Paralells. My old Vaio is still above me on the top shelf and will probably work. Thanks, Marilyn
Guest Linda S
Last I knew, EQ was only compatible with Windows-based computers, so yes, you will have to run it through Parallels. I also just set up an old Windows computer so I could run some of my quilting software and my digital camera software. Linda

yankiequilter
Sandra, I sent a U2U. I also want to upgrade. I'm on an EQ digest and upgrade info that I read is that if you are a registered EQ6 user you can upgrade. Here is a quote from EQ: "EQ7 UPGRADE: No need to have the EQ6 Upgrade or EQ6 installed in order to install the EQ7 Upgrade. You will type in your EQ6 License ID and EQ6 Password during the EQ7 Upgrade or EQ7 installation. But the EQ6 program does *not* need to be installed.
