Kristiequilts
all I can think to do is feathers. I like them but maybe something else might look better. Any Ideas would help thanks. Not a great pic I loaded it and then took pics. Dumb me.
doodlebug
that's funny- i have a quilt with fans in it on the frame...
Kristiequilts
Great for the fans. But how's about the background? I should probably change thread for the fans to brown.
doodlebug
i just use pink for my doodles so it shows up.... i'd use a leaf meander for the background with a thread that matches....the pearls at the top are done in enough to not go into the SA for the binding

Kristiequilts
Heidi I really love the cross hatching. I just don't have the tools to do it. I'm trying to get enough saved for some of them but everytime I think I'm getting ahead something happens. You know. Tires, washing machine breaks, etc. Its just one thing after the other. Mary Beth
Yeah, I agree, I like where Heidi is going with that curved crosshatch.
mrsbishwit
Ooh I like Shannons CC fans and I like Heidi's curved crosshatching in the scallop border too. How about a floral background fill?

Kristiequilts
Wow those are great! I kind of went with McTavishing and a butterfly feather in the border with the pearls on the edge. As soon as I finish I will post the pics.
