quiltinginthecountry
Sandra, I love it. I love wild life quilts anyway. Really cool. Thanks for showing it and it's going into my file.
Gail O
Great job. It tells a story. Very cool. I guess only another Canuck would notice the hockey game in the background (of the photo, not the quilt). How about those Habs! g

SandraC
Thanks for your kind comments! I'm just sewing the binding on now and then the sleeve, then off to the show on Thursday. No, it's not my design, it's this year's Piecemakers Calendar quilt. And, yes, it's mine unless I sell it at the show this week! Good eye, Gail O! I hate to admit it though, we are all die-hard Wings fans in this house. My husband's boyhood idol was Gordie Howe and I'm afraid he brainwashed all of us! Don't know what we'll do tonight with the hockey game on AND a lot of our favourite shows!
IBQLTN2
Great Job Sandra, How long did that applique take to finish? I have one from 1998 calendar that still isnt finished yet!! Maybe one day I will get back to it and finish it. I think they all resemble each other in some ways. Mine was scenery from each month of the year. Isn't it a great feeling to be able to say Yes! It is done! COngratulations
