Sandra Darlington
That really turned out fabulously! I'm sure they will love it. And, if they don't, I'll send you my address. Hint, hint. LOL
Janette
Kath, you have done a wonderful job of this quilt. It is stunning. I love the black sashings separating the fabrics. My husband would love this one too. Look forward to seeing your next one. (Your next black quilt you could try the black waddings - I just used black 60/40 on a predominantly black quilt and it was brilliant not to have to pick off that darn fluff !!!) KathG
Thank you so much everyone, your lovely comments are really appreciated. Janette, I will definately use black wadding on my next black quilt. Kay, I have been a bit lax lately, Scotts quilt has sat waiting for the binding to be done for the last month at least. CindyT
Kath, awesome job on the quilt! What you did in the border reminds me of the movement of koi.
Kristiequilts
Beautiful Quilt. I love the Asian themed fabrics. I really don't have any place for them in my house (except my bed room and I already made one for the bed). My mom loved the quilts I made with the Asian theme I gave them all to her. She died last summer so while I still have a lot of the fabric it is difficult for me to work with. Reminds me of Mom. I still like it though. Yours is gorgeouse(sp) I love the a-symetrical look too. It makes it easier. Nobody knows when something goes wrong.
