Sandra Darlington
Jess, it really is beautiful. I love your quilting ideas, even though you flew"by the seat of your pants." Only you (and now a few of your best friends:P) know that. The designs go together so well, it surely looks like you carefully planned every detail. RoseCity Quilter
LOVE the curved effect in the sashing! Great way to combine curved crosshatch and feathers. Greeat job.
Dar
Absolutely beautiful. I don't think you could improve on your designs if you knew ahead of time. You are letting the quilt tell you what it wants, so it has to be right! Your work is wonderful. It's going into my favorites. I too would like to know if it is all hand guided and no marking??? ReisingStarQuilts
Jess, your quilt went into my favorites as soon as I saw it!! wow and it wasnt planned?? I just cant imagine. It is just perfect. Love the quilting. What is a boomerang?
Butterfly
A boomerang is Deloa's curved crosshatch ruler. And, yep, this is all hand guided with no marking. Well...I DID mark a dot in the sashing where I wanted the point of the crosshatching to be. That's all. I really don't like to follow a line. It tends to make me nervous and then I don't do as well. I need to get over that though, as I think I'm going to take Karen McTavishes Wholecloth class at MQX. Jess
iedquilts
Yes, the circular quilting gives a nice effect/movement. I need to add the curved xhatch ruler to my toy box. Irene

Georgene
Your quilting does just what I've been told that quilting is supposed to do -- make your eye travel around the entire quilt.....movement. It's wonderful. I quilt as I go as well. I start with something and take it from there.
