Butterfly
This quilt is the third of three quilt tops I received from a customer that were all done with the same fabrics. I'm glad they were all different designs. I forgot to take pics of the first two, but here's the last one. Jess

JustSewSimple
Beautiful! How is the world did you think to put the cross hatching below the feathers?
Butterfly
Actually Sylvia, the cross hatching came first. After I did that, then I thought to do a second line around it and then I thought about the feathers. I often tell people that I quilt by the seat of my pants. In other words, I don't really know what I'm doing or think it all out ahead of time. I'm taking an online class though that I hope will help me with that. I would just love to know what I'm doing BEFORE I'm doing it. Somehow, though, it all works out in the end. It's just a miracle. Lisa, I used one of those boomerangs. Butterfly
Pamela, You know what? It IS kinda fun. I AM surprized at the end and love it. It's just that I have so much nervousness during the process, thinking I could be doing a better job. I don't know why I put myself through all that, but I do. I really DO wish I could know ahead of time what to do on a quilt top. I'm very fortunate that my customers don't demand to know my plan...because.....as you know, I don't have one.
