Bottom Line as top thread

Recommended Posts

I did a whole quilt with Bottom Line in the top and bobbin. It's great to use such a thin thread when you're doing a pattern with a lot of backtracking or a very tiny stipple. Now I use silk instead when I do that type of work. I just prefer the look of the silk. Have fun playing with the Bottom Line!

I am working on a quilt now using Bottom Line in the background fill for micro work. Its great...gives texture, but barely shows at all. It blends in very well with the fabric and doesn't give a thready look. You need a smaller needle, though..or the thread doesn't fill the needle hole. I personally prefer it over So Fine for tight background fill.
