Beachside Quilter
Here is a top I recently completed using the Quiltazoid "Swirls" template. I filled in the spaces between the swirls with the spirograph making an "atom" shape. Super easy and fun to do! (Edited...template is "Spirals")

Beachside Quilter
Thanks, Libby, Sandra and Heidi! The spirals are so much fun! I enjoyed playing around with the spiro and finally settled on the "atom" shape. The batting is wool and needed something to hold down the puffiness. The spirograph was easy to figure out. JustSewSimple
I like the quilt top AND the quilting. Sometimes just that nice texture is what is needed. The movement created by the swirls is perfect! You always do such a good job!!!

WestieMom
Vickie, This quilt is beautiful!!! I love the swirls and the atom design you did on this! Since I can't afford QZ yet I'm saving for the R&S swirls boards...the swirls give such great movement. Looking at the back of this quilt is as fun as looking at the front! Beachside Quilter
Thanks, Marilyn, Charlotte, Karen and Anna! The spiro is so much fun to use. The area between these spirals puffed up a bit because of the wool batting and I wanted a little something to fill in. The space was small so I looked at the spiro designs in my QZ guide to find shapes that would fit in the 4-1/2" space. The "atom" was the perfect fit! I love all the swirls boards, templates, etc., Carol! LOL, I have them all. They are my new favorite design and add so much movement and fun to each quilt! I just finished a QoV using the QZ but it sure doesn't show.. your backing is quite pretty, and shows off the design quite nice.
