Suzie W.
I made this Drunkard's Path quilt for my daughter's upcoming HS Graduation gift. She picked the colors and design but I get to decide how to quilt it. I don't know whether to use an overall panto or just overall freehand something or do you see a design I could actually do with it? Thanks for your help. witha'K'quilting
My eyes are drawn to the black. I would use a bright variegated thread and quilt the black with feathers maybe or some other open filler. The colored areas I see something to recede them back I think. I would let the black pop with the quilting.
Terri C.
I just wanted to say I love the colors and everything else about that quilt.
Neher-in-law5
Are you able to trail/twist a design through all the black path? Then there are colored centers that could hold a separate design and the colored fan/pie shapes could be done with a fan design or a quarter flower. Great quilt. Have fun with it. Quilting Heidi
Pretty quilt. Here are my doodles. I would just do a background fill such as peacock meander, McT'ing or anything like that. I would use black thread for that so that the colors in the blocks really stand out.
