witha'K'quilting
Either size. Sets good too. I can help clear out what you don't want/need anymore. Thanks
JustSewSimple
Kristina, what is an X block ruler and how do you use it?
witha'K'quilting
Similar to the twister ruler, in that you piece a block...then lay this ruler over the block and cut around it. There are many patterns available. It came out 2 years ago...so I thought someone might want to part with theirs. But I may have just resurrected their interest! Gator
Hummmm, never heard of it. I thought I had all the gadgets.
witha'K'quilting
As I said, they came out 2 years ago. I have done the quilt without the ruler...but it makes it easier with. I am hoping someone here knows what it is and wants to sell.
JustSewSimple
Oh! I have the Little Twister and thought if I needed the larger size, I'd just cut a piece of cardboard.
witha'K'quilting
it isn't the little twister...but is marked similar to it. you make 9 patch blocks..then use the x block ruler to line on the seams, before cutting.
Judi
hmmm..... I think that is what this lady called the name of her quilt she brought in last week. Been thinking on that one how to quilt it. I need to do some searching. You bringing this up brought the name back to me - thanks!
CindyT
Kristina, I have a duplicate of one that I'd sell ya. I'll have to find it to see what size it is (I know it's still in the package because I got a pattern that the ruler came with it and I realized I already had one that size when I got home before I opened it). I think it's a 6 1/2" and I was wanting a 7 1/2". The very first X-Block quilt I made is in the Hall of Fame on Patricia Pepe's website http://www.patriciapepe.com/X-Blocks.html (I think there were only a handful on there at the time and now there's several). They've been very popular here the past 4 or 5 years. I'll go look and get back with you.

Terri C.
Sorry Kristina just went down to see what I had and I also have 2 of the 6 1/2 size also. What size are you looking for?
witha'K'quilting
6-1/2 or 7-1/2 is what i wanted. didn't really matter which one. i want to make some scrappy nine patches and then cut them with the x block ruler for a different look! tired of the same old patterns. gardenslug
Is there much waste of fabric with this x block ruler? Like all of the gadgets and I surely missed this one. Just looked at site Cindy posted. Looks like fun!!! Marilyn
witha'K'quilting
There isn't any waste if you use the cutoff parts in the border.
appr216
If anyone has an extra set that Kristina does not want I want it! And the book if anyone has that also. Thanks, Judi
