Dyan
I love, love, love my Lenni!! So, I had some old towels...not in shreds yet, still good for something... I sewed 3 of them together along the sides...took some panel material from my stash that I didn't like very much...made some binding...and quilted it all on my lovely Lenni! I didn't put any batting in it. I didn't really know if it would quilt up nicely, but tried anyway and it worked perfectly. This is my new beach towel/blanket for one! I still want to put a tie on it so I can roll it up and tie it. Can't wait for this summer and Florida beaches!!! Sandra Darlington
Wow, how clever! This is a great idea. I might make these for my 3 grandchildren out of plain yardage or panels of " cool" Star Wars, Sesame Street and fairies. This might be a great Easter gift, as my daughter doesn't like them to have a lot of candy staring her in the face. I'm really excited by this idea. Thanks for sharing it.
