meg
I'm hyperventilating. I just read that google reader shutting down. What will happen to all the blogs I follow? I read so many and learn so much. Do I have to re enter them all into another reader kinda thing? How will I learn another reader thing? Does anyone have any suggestions for an easy one? What do you all use?

lnieland
I'm trying both Feedly and bloglovin. I'm hoping that I'll have picked a favorite by the time we lose Reader!
meg
I'm trying both Feedly and bloglovin. I'm hoping that I'll have picked a favorite by the time we lose Reader! Actually, I use feebly to read on my iPad. But, every time I sign in, it asks for permission to manage my google reader? I'm worried that all will be lost when it goes away. Do you know how to make feedly remember without google reader?
GrandmaLKB
Isn't it irritating that just when we get used to something we like and know how to use, they either "new and improve" it or discontinue ???
Mandalei
My husband (who was a software engineer at bloglines before he moved on and they outsourced to China), recommends feedly or Newsblur.
meg
Thanks for the advice. After reading the RV guys (thanks Janna) blog about it, I now know that Feedly will be converting all my saved blogs when google reader dies. This makes me happy cause I like the iPad app from Feedly. So, for me, it's Feedly! Thanks again...you guys are da best!

Anne from Guam
Ok I need to understand this. How is a blog reader used? Is it different than just typing in their web address?
meg
Anne... Yikes! I don't know How it works. But I can tell you what it does. It's an app, FREE, that I downloaded. I enter the web addresses of the blogs I like to follow. And, somehow, it just sends me the new posts from each of the blogs. It's awesome. An Internet miracle. I don't have to do anything but click on the app and all the unread posts are waiting for me. Try it...you'll like it.
Heritage Keepsakes
Ok, when it comes to some computer things I'm really thick, so could someone please explain. When I sign into my blog site, it takes me to my blog dashboard and there on the first page are all the most recent entries from my favourite blogs. So I just click on the respective new post and read. ( I don't go into google reader to read them) With google reader going, will it change all that on my blogger dashboard?
