SusieQ(uilting)
Has everyone read the blog article from APQS (on the home page) - Quilting by Numbers? Good and fun reading - do YOU qualify as a "dedicated" quilter? Specially like the requirement to buy 100 yds of material a year !

RitaR
I'm not even close.. just bought 4 1/2 yards tor a quilt top.. that's the biggest this year, I think, and very few buys smaller than that. Sorry I'm such a dud! Rita
Lemon Tree Tami
Uh oh, my quilting cotton stash is pretty small since I used to make mostly doll sized quilts and cloth dolls. I only bought fat quarters and the occasional 1/2 yard cuts. 99% of it fits in a 22 gallon rubbermaid container if it's squished in just right. (Found that out from our quick move last month.) Does that mean I get kicked out of the club? (Although I would say that I'm off to a much better start with today's purchase of 6 yards of wide muslin.) quiltedsunflower
My sister and I always laugh at each other as we're leaving the fabric store. Most people just look at us. They are buying yardage and fat quarters. We buy BOLTS! Yes, I guess I'm in.
Merryjo2003
My stash alone is big enough to start a fabric store! 100 Yards? Hmmmm....I buy 100 yards in one stop at my favorite discount fabric store. He who dies with the biggest stash...WINS!
