Bliss Quilter
I was very busy the last 3 weeks. Below is a quilt (75" x 75") I did for my Mother in law. She is 85 and the sweetest angel. She keep saying the last few months that she would love a quilt before she dies (not any time soon I hope) and was very surprised. It was just wonderful quilting on Miss Millie with IQ. Glide "Cream" top and bobbin) I always pray as I quilt, and on this one I prayed she would be here years to come to enjoy it. Front - with MNL holding quilt Closeup Borders Back, had extra blocks and short on backing fabric - used blocks to make it fit. Thanks for looking! HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!! micajah
Lovely quilt. Love the back side as much as the front. You are so very lucky to have your Mother in law. My Mom is the only parent left for me and it is such a blessing to have her. Debbie
mlsa3
That's a really pretty quilt. I know your MIL is proud of it. I have made about 4-5 prayer quilts for friends who were ill and there is just something special when you pray and ask God to bless the quilt to comfort the recipient of the quilt. I have been busy trying to get a T-Shirt quilt out and have not been checking the site. My DML was so excited, she uses it all the time.
