PJK
All I can say is my, my, my, absolutely beautiful. What kind of batting did you use to make the feathers pop like they do on the border?
Quilting Heidi
All I can say is my, my, my, absolutely beautiful. What kind of batting did you use to make the feathers pop like they do on the border? Wool! I use wool almost exclusively. The other thing that helps the feathers pop is that I echoed them about 1/8" also the dense pebbles really help make them stand out even more. Bonnie in Ok
Heidi what do you use for all your marking?
Quilting Heidi
Bonnie on this quilt I used the blue Dritz maker. It is one of my favorites because you get a good mark and the marks stay until you want them gone. Just don't expose them to heat and wash first in clear cool water with no added soap. IBQLTN2
It is simply wonderful Heidi I hope it wins lots of ribbons in VT quilt festival. Are you going to hand deliver and pick it up. I don't think I would want to let it out of my sight for a minute.
Quilting Heidi
Jeanne I will probably mail it there, 3 hours each way for me so doubt I'll drive it up. I have a friend who said she would pick it up for me. I do hate sending my babies in the mail though.
