TerriVB
Hey all--just packaged this one up for a customer--I loved it when I saw it in the Quilt Pink magazine--and thought I would like to do one someday--now I know how I will quilt it when I do make it. Used the customer's batting--a wonderful poly, and a varigated pink Signature thread with So Fine white in bobbin. Enjoy!!
TerriVB
I had just bought the booklet--Just Leaf It--and couldn\'t wait to try it--I think it turned out really well for my first try.
JenMcManus
What a fun quilt! I really like your choice of quilting for the borders. Looks great! Did you mark it first? Or just by eye? Jen
TerriVB
Jen--I put a line at the center to start and a diagonal line at the corner with a chalk pencil and used the Clover chalk rollers to mark a guideline for the spine--and then just went for it!! It was a lot of fun--and not so scarey as a formal type feather. The book Just Leaf It by Kim Stotensburg had really good illustrations and instructions. mrmquilt
I Love that quilt. The quilting looks fun. You could come up with some really wild flower colors on this quilt and it would still be Great. Michele

bsktsn3cats
Are the flower edges going to fray after washing? It\'s very cute, I might have to make one! Good work!

JanieceKS
Your quilt looks great! I\'ve made 2 of these quilts - one full sized and one crib sized. They are really fun and easy to do! The crib sized one I donated for an auction that works with developmentally disabled children and to my surprise, it brought in $165. I used soft pastels, but would like to try to do one in brights in the future. Keep on quilting!

ramona-quilter
Terri, This is a sweet little quilt. I would love to make one of these for my princess (GD) Madison. Do you happen to know the name of the pattern? The quilting is perfect for this quilt. I love what you did in the roses. But the borders are fabulous. I llove those ferns. bsktsn3cats
Linda, the pattern I have is called French Roses and it\'s in the Better Homes and Gardens Creative Collection "Quilt Pink" magazine. My mag says it\'s on display in stores until Jan. 08. The one in the magazine is really cute but this one is even cuter! I keep coming back to look at it!
