RitaR
This quilt is still being quilted, but I tried the niteglow extra thread.. this pict was taken without light, and no flash.. I'm sure with more exposure to light, the thread will glow brighter.. this was only a few seconds, less than a minute of Penny's lights.. Bonnie
I guess I wouldn\'t have thought to put it in a quilt....I have used this thread for years for Halloween Trick or Treat bags and Jammies...kids love to run around in jammies that glow in the dark and its fun to watch them play in the dark. SonjaHammond
I love this on the lighthouse. What a great idea. I have used this on a halloween quilt for the spider web and spidey.
TracyeQ
What a cool idea to use it for the light from the light house! It looks awesome.
RitaR
Thanks for the kudos.. it is fun... I sure messed up the borders though.. really considering taking that out and doing it over.. I hear Heidi\'s frogging sound.. don\'t like it, but don\'t like the results of the pattern either.. Even donation quilts deserve my best efforts.. Guess I\'ll pull it off and do a bunch of ripping.. RitaR

RitaR
Oh, boy... I\'m NOT taking out the light rays, but were I to do this again, I\'d stitch them in BEFORE I put the sandwich together to quilt. It really looks messy on the back.. 20/20 hindsight.. sure perfect isn\'t it? lol RitaR
