veg-girl
How did I do it? I quilt for ironing. As I was quilting away for my friend she was doing my ironing (which I hate), fair exchange in my book.! We have made 3 quilts like this , 2 for charity and one by my friend Sandy who got so carried away with enthusiasm that she did a whole quilt by herself instead of just one row ! She is keeping it for her grandchildren to use at her house. We are making them for our local children\'s Hospice and Respite Care centre for children. The pattern is from Traplet publications here in the UK designed by Leslie Brankin.

veg-girl
PS Now that all the ironing has been done for the first time in years I have discovered I don\'t have enough closet space to store all my ironed clothes! I knew there was a reason for not doing the ironing!

BethDurand
Great job on the quilting, it\'s just lovely. Someone\'s going to be loving that one! I do my ironing on Sunday morning while I listen to several of my favorite radio shows. I can\'t sew during them, the machine is too noisy, and my ironing gets done too.
