gable428
I just bought the basic set up from a lady who has gone computerized and will no longer use the Circle Lord. She gave me a really good deal and now I am busy figuring out what I want to order from Michael. I'm kind of nervous about learning something new, but excited at the same time and wanted to share with you all.

lyonden
Hey Gable - There really isn't much of a learning curve to the CL. You just plop it down and go for it. Welcome to the club.
gable428
Thank you ladies. I just thought of something... am I going to have a hard time setting the basic part up? I just read in another section on this site how one quilter and her son spent a few hours setting the system up. Also, what about ease of taking it down when I want to do a panto? Gator
Congrats to MaryBeths 12 step club!!! You will love your CL. There really isn't a learn curve, it's the easiest tool I've bought with the most rewards. Now the addiction begins, "gotta have that templet" now. Have fun:D
quiltingnanny
Hey Gable, that's one of the nicest features of our Nolting ! Easy to put on the Circle Lord. I leave the stylus adapter on all the time, hasn't been in my way at all. No adjustments to the machine at all. I know you will enjoy all the neat things you can do. What all did you get ? Glenda
MarieBrewer
Be sure to get the swirlz giant template. You will have it paid for in no time. I find I use the giants much more than the individual ones. When I do custom I usally wing it but have used the circles and hearts as guides. clovismom
Gable YIPPEE!! New Toys are always fun. I was disappointed when I saw you are not on the Cottage Quilts all nighter list for Saturday. Raquel Birch APQS Sales Representative
gable428
I'm looking at the list of templates and I think I am going to start with all the big ones. From what I understand, I can only get the discount on the first purchase so I might as well buy as much as possible the first time around!! Raquel, I was thinking of going to the all nighter, but then an unexpected funeral came up on Saturday so that will take most of the afternoon, so the all nighter idea went out the window. Have a good time:)
