sewlinzi
If you are in Paducah and see my quilt, Botannica Kentuckii with a crowd of admirers and not looking too crumpled. please take a pic for me!
JillFrazior
Linzi....sure wish I was in Paducah as I would love to see your Botannica Kentuckii in person....I think it's smashing.
yankiequilter
I was at Paducah and took a lot of pictures of the quilts but mostly waited for people to get out of the way so that I could just get a photo of the quilts. Linzi, I checked your web site but couldn't find a picture of the quilt and I didn't have time to read all the names of the quilts in Paducah. Can you post a picture here and I'll check my pictures and see if I at least have one for you of the quilt hanging at Paducah?

sewlinzi
Botannica Kentuckii... I hope it doesn't feel too simple next to all those utterly amazing quilts;)
yankiequilter
Linzi, I did take a picture of your lovely quilt, but it isn't nearly as good as the one you have posted here, and I intentionally took the picture at a close enough range so I excluded the people in it. I wish I had known before I came home!
quiltmonkey
Linzi, I can see why your quilt was juried and accepted into the Paducah show. It is very beautiful; very interesting to look at. I am sooo proud of you, Linzi!!!!!!!! :)

sewlinzi
Thanks for taking ANY sort of picture so I can get a real one of it at the show... Yes, I made it up - it just got bigger and bigger from a sketch idea on the bus. The white bits are pieced white blocks with significant names like fence rail, log cabin, ohio star, friendship star etc to celebrate my road trip last year then it has sunflowers and dogwoods appliqued on by machine - a bit folksy. Lots of random micro fillers, rickrack, prairie points, buttons, doilies - but nothing "fancy"!
SherryRogers
Linzi That has got to be the biggest most awsome quilt I have ever seen!! You should be very proud of your accomplishments. Congratulations on your design, the perseverance to actually quilt something of this size AND being a finalist in the AQS Paducah show!!
yogiquilter
These were the best I could get. Taking pics of the quilts when they are hanging on the side walls is not at all easy when you can't get to them! Imaging me trying to hold my arm over the dreaded white chain and snapping and seeing what happens! The quilt was beautiful, and you should be very proud:)

I know I took several and some are closeups, some at a distance. When I get the laundry and rest caught up, I'll post them.
