Linda G. Craig
I would love to make this scrappy quilt. I saw it at a quilt show and I just can't remember where the pattern came from. I should have written it down. I've tried to look at the "write up" attached to the quilt, but I'm unable to read it. I'm hoping someone here might recognize it or tell me where I can find it. Thanks so much for your interest and help.

Anne from Guam
LInda, I think I saw this done up in 30's prints maybe in The Sampler magazine. I checked the fall/winter issue of 09, so maybe Spring/summer 09, but I gave away my issue. Just a thought. Good luck.

lisalnewman
Linda, Was browsing online and came across a quilt on Randi Allen's blog. I am sure it is the same quilt she got the pattern from Bonnie Hunter's website. When I looked on the site I am sure it is Jared takes a wife. Good luck I am sure yours will be beautiful. Lisa:) Looks like Sherry and Linnea already beat me to it:D:D
Linda G. Craig
Thanks so much, everyone! I want to make this for our son (32), he's 6'5", so I need to make it extra long and a little wider for him. Doodlebug is helping me with the pattern, so I'm really excited! It may take me some time, but I'll show you what I put together!
hollyc
I believe these are Jacob's ladder blocks. Four of the turned makes this pattern
mrsbishwit
Holly's right they are jacob ladder blocks grouped in fours then surounded by srappy thin sashings. The one on Bonnie's site "Jared Takes a Wife" simular but not this one, the centers on Bonnie's create stars not the ladder effect.
