Linda G. Craig
Beautiful job, Kristina! I bet you make lots of $$$$ for the fundraising. It's just perfect for a "Band Quilt". Good luck!

CindyT
I must have missed this original post. Great job, Kristina! You're doing a good thing for your community with donating this raffle quilt you made for the band. How many of your kids are in the band?

witha'K'quilting
dun dun du dun!!! drum roll please...and the winner is...a local gal from Ely. The principal of the Middle School pulled the winning ticket and was honored to do so. I wish to personally thank each and every one of you from this forum who purchased tickets to support our local band program. My kids and I were able to raise about $700. Still need to turn over the money to the school...and get final count. By the way...each of you who sent checks...they will be cashed by next week! Thanks again for the support. quiltmonkey
Awww it's a bummer I didn't win a quilt made by my friend Kristina, but that's OK -- the money is going toward supporting the kids. It's hard work running a raffle but the resulting benefits are all good. Big congrats to Kristina & her kids for making this event happen. :)
RitaR
That's so very Pretty Kristen... may one of my people win it after massive sales on the tickets. RitaR
JustSewSimple
The winner is a lucky girl. That is one beauty you made. Making a quilt for auction is hard because you put your heart on your sleeve. Good good job making all that money for the band!
