Georgene
Angie, The Pushbutton Crosshatch system has nothing to do with the Upfront system. It's just a large template that rests on the back of the table. But with the little trigger on the handle of your machine, you can raise the stylus from the front, and do your stitching from the front. The template is still resting on the back table of the machine. Maybe if you scroll down this page, it will make better since. http://pbtwocrosshatchtemps.blogspot.com/

Gator
Georgene, great job!!! I bought that pattern a few years ago but haven't tried it yet. Maybe I'll dust it off for my new grand-daughter. I may have to call you for pointers!!

Sandra Darlington
Penny, Is your frame the same as the Liberty's frame? My up front is not compatable with my back (as are the CL for the Millies and Freedoms), so I had to buy a new system and take apart my back system to canibalize parts for the upfront. I can now only use mine at the front. Perhaps, check back with Michael, as for a while I was not able to get the upfront system till he had more time to work out some details. carolinequilts
Such an adorable quilt Georgene. I too have the push button thingy and have used it for clam shells and cable border, but haven't used it for actual cross-hatching - can't wait to try it out now that I've seen yours!
