Kristiequilts
I am trying to figure out what to do around the bugs in the inside border. I'm trying to make it look like a kid did it, without it looking like a kid did it... if you know what I mean.

witha'K'quilting
can you do a loopy swirls in and out? circling each bug.
Kristiequilts
I kinda wanted to outline or something to make them stand out....
witha'K'quilting
so you don't like my swirl loopy thing? I think it would work great to make each bug stand out.
Kristiequilts
I'm not sure what you mean by swirl loopy thingy (0: I can do swirls and I thought about loops, but I'm stymied by putting them together... I'm a visual learner.
witha'K'quilting
loopy meander i guess...where the swirls encase the bugs.
Guest Linda S
My first gut response was just to outline them.
Busy Quilting
Give them a windy path to walk along. Since the bugs face different directions the path will go up and down. Lyn
fineseams
You could quilt some additional bugs here and there along with a free meander, and outline the bugs in the fabric. Cute!

Kristiequilts
thanks Kristina, I'm glad I got it right. Its really easy, the loops, so easy I feel like I'm not doing a good job. It should be harder. silly me ;0}

RitaR
Oh, Kristie!! I love the fills you used, especially suited in the border, great choice. The stitching in the quilt is cute too.. the spider webs are great but you can keep the spiders any day, every day.. lol, I have a thing about spiders. Kristiequilts
I have a thing about spiders too! When I got the quilt I thought -OMGosh how will I quilt this - BUGS bug me. At least there weren't any ants - the only ants I like or bugs for that matter are in Pixar's BUGS LIFE. But after I got started it just took off and I had fun with it. I'm glad you all liked it. thanks for looking
