Hawaii Posted April 19, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 19, 2011 My young quilting friend, Miki (avid piecer) came over this past Saturday to quilt her "wedding" quilt on my Freedom. She pieced it using scraps from favor bags she made at her wedding. She chose CL 7-Treasures. She started and finished in a day - a queen-sized quilt, amazing. I love to see young people taking up quilting. And I think it's wonderful that she made her own wedding quilt. How cool is that. Reminds me of the days when young ladies filled their hope chest.
