quiltmonkey
another. I used the hooked feather technique for this quilt. I used two of Linda Mae's curled (rolling) feather templates for the corners and undulating spines. I used the larger curled feather template in the outer purple borders and I used her smaller curled feather template for the white inner area. quiltmonkey
Thanks girls. The hooked feathers are easy (no backtrack) and quick and look elegant. Now that we're on the subject, I am still going through my stuff and selling some of my tools... Actually I am going to be selling of some of my templates and rulers. I have the entire set of Linda Mae's templates for making feathers and feathered hearts. If any of you are interested in buying the whole set, the cost for everything (all of these templates) was retail $230.00 but I am willing to sell them together as a group for $150.00 plus shipping. I'd rather sell these all together as a group than split them out... so... here is the web site to Linda Mae's stuff. http://www.thecalicokitten.com/catalog_category.aspx?cat_id=20 Here are all of the templates I'm selling as a group:
quiltmonkey
Here's the last one. If you're interested in buying all of these templates shown here as a set for $150 + shipping let me know. Send me a U2U.
