I am thankful that I have food in my cupboard and in my fridge. I am thankful for my loving friends and family, and my husband. I am thankful for getting all of my Turkey Day grocery shopping done. I am thankful that I have a long 4-day weekend ahead of me. I am thankful that I have a few customer quilts to work on during the long weekend. Most of all, I am thankful I am part of this wonderful group of quilters. Yes. I am thankful for my many simple blessings. All my best to you during the coming holidays. May all of your days be filled with warmth and love - surrounded by family, and reflection of the past year, and with that, may you have appreciation of the simple blessings. This is a wonderful time of year, preparing for the holidays, making warm memories for our families and friends. I like the story of a man who would go to a small diner for his meal ( sometime during the holidays) and then sneakily leaves the waitress a $100 tip. Can you imagine how surprised she was?
