Beachside Quilter Posted January 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2012 Thank you all for your lovely comments. The veterans quilt is very special to me, as well. The guild member who pieced it initiated the challenge to the guild members to make quilts for veterans and there were many lovely quilts made and donated. We had a class on LeMoyne stars and she wanted to incorporate them into her quilt. She said she didn't really like the quilt and her fabric choices until I had quilted it.
