chrisquilter
Does anyone know why all these old posts are popping up all of a sudden? Or is this the norm? It just seems like there a lot of them lately.
Quilting Heidi
Chris, It is because a SPAMMER posts to it and then the spammers post is removed but the old message stays at the top.
witha'K'quilting
I dont believe it would stay at the top if we didn't add to the post.
cblevins
I replied to one today that was from 2004!!! I try to check the dates but this one slipped past me.
JustSewSimple
WE could probably stop this if our forum page had the date on it. Also, I think when we get Newbies they read everything from way back and they respond to something that is really old.
DawnCavanaugh
Cheri and Heidi are correct; when we remove the spammer post and the 'reported' post the original post stays at the top until additional posts push it back down the list. It's always a good idea to check the posting dates before you respond to a thread:). We don't want to bump or delete the thread, because in several instances the information in the thread is actually very helpful (though it may not be timely). Lynne in Iowa
Wonder if it would be possible to start adding the dates to the "author" column like it does for the "last post" one.
Dustee
Hi, Me again. I am new to responding and didn't realize the posts were dated and I should not respond to old posts. I promise it won't happen again. How do I start a Post if I have a question that isn't covered in another post? Thanks, Dustee

ginnysnowden
An odd thing is on my posts. All of my log in's, posts, responses, everything is always dated 1/24/2008. How can I fix this. Ginny S Pflugerville, Texas
