aktbone
I am trying to decide if I should take Jamie Wallen's Mystical Cotton Tracks class, when I am at MQX - Portland. I have his DVD but just have not taken time to watch just yet. Please let me know what you think.
srichardson
I too have the DVD but I never seem to get around to watching it either so I signed up for the class!
DoryJM
I have the DVD and have watched it and can finally do some fun fills, thanks to Jamie. I'm taking a different class from him while there. I want to pick his design brain as much as possible. If you have the DVD, take something else. Set aside a time to watch it. Its well worth it. Quilting Heidi
All I can say is any class with Jamie is worth it! Love him. He is patient, gentle and so giving. You can't go wrong.
Guest Linda S
I'd go ahead and watch the DVD, but do take the class. Jamie is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he is very patient, creative, and a wonderful instructor. I can't wait to see him again! Butterfly
My guess is that he will offer more in class than is on the DVD. Often that's the case. I think he would be a great person to learn from in person. Jess
Sandra Darlington
I have 3 of his DVDs and took one of his classes (in Houston, I think). His class was wonderful!!! His DVDs are great, but being in his class is so much better.
Busy Quilting
I took a class in Houston with him then purchased the DVD's and sat with my sketchbook again. I have since watched them again while doing the ironing. DO the class then doubly enjoy watching the DVD's.
MarieBrewer
I took a class from him long before the DVD. The nice thing about class is that he can look at your work and give you hints as to how to make things better or easier. Can't get that from a DVD. Any class from him would be worthwhile. brake
I took a 2 day seminar with Jamie and it was fantastic. I have his DVD's as well. Take the class, it is well worth it. As others have mentioned, he is so patient and a great hand-on instructor.
LindaLou
I took a class from him a year ago. It is sooooo worth the time and money spent. He talks about so much in class that isn't on any DVD. The hints and tips he gives out pays for itself many times over.
Sandra Darlington
Lyn (Busy Quilting) - I think we were in the same class, sitting across the isle from each other; maybe 2010?

Busy Quilting
YEs we were Sandra, I think we were both very busy soaking up the atmosphere and evry break I had I made a beeline to the show or the vendors. I was on quilting overload and loved it.
CWBowser
Take the class. The DVD will make more sense and it will be like having him at your house giving a private lesson.
Anette D.
Any class with Jamie is a wonderful experience. Ditto on Heidi's comments. I wouldn't think twice about taking his class.
