CindyT Posted May 10, 2013 Report Share Posted May 10, 2013 I made this bag for one of my best friends a few weekends ago. Actually she helped make it and didn't even know it! She had seen this pattern made in several bags at a local quilt show last month and made a comment that she wanted one. I already had the pattern and her birthday was the following week. She and her husband breed quarter horses and her house is full of horsey decorations. So since I don't have an embroidery machine and I have her embroidery some of my quilt labels and such, I took a piece of fabric over to her and had her embroidery her initials on it...hence the front pocket. And it's even more special that she helped without even knowing it. The embroidered pocket is a perfect compliment to the beautiful horses on the main fabric.
