WW Quilter
Hi, I won a Best of Show ribbon at our County Fair on this quilt. I took a class with Patt Blair and this is how mine turned out. I actually finished it last fall, before I got my Lenni, so it was quilted on my DSM. I really hope I have figured out how to get my pictures to post. I love looking at all of your pictures of your beautiful work and hope to share too. Thanks for looking! image by huckleberryjo, on Flickr image by huckleberryjo, on Flickr image by huckleberryjo, on Flickr

RitaR
Beautiful job. Did you color in the features, or are they a preprinted piece? In either case, great job for the dsm in particular. Congratulations on the ribbons, and what is that juicy big red one to the left?? Best of Division isn't anything to sneeze at either! Keep up the beautiful work, Rita

WW Quilter
Oh, thank you all for the wonderful comments! This was a fun one to work on, as I had never tried to do paints before. Rita, This started as a blank white fabric and the painting and shading was added with Tsukineco paints. The quilting was used to enhance the design. The teacher, Patt Blair, has some beautiful works. I am sure you have seen her work in magazines and shows. Thanks again, ladies! (Now I am looking forward to posting pictures of my LA quilts-- The recents posts about not being intimidated helps!)
