quiltmonkey
That is a gorgeous quilt -- all around an A++ in my book! The colors chosen for the the top are just awesome. I especially like the look of the black fabrics surrounding the centers of the blocks. And, the soft curved lines of the feather motifs along with the straight line stitching through the postage stamp squares -- just lovely! Well done and bravo! kwilter81
Thanks to everyone for the great comments. To answer about the border, no panto - all freehand. I did chalk my spine ahead of time so the curves meet nice on the corners, but thats all. and Yes -- lots of ruler work in the straight lines !! Also, I drive an Ultimate II with no bells or whistles... ttyl Pat - NJ
Lottie
Just wonderful! I get an Amish feel about it, due to your lovely color palette. Beautiful feathers! A classic!!

ramona-quilter
Pat, Well, the quilting is great. No doubt. But I have to say that it is an amazing job when you consider that it was done without a stitch regulator, without channels locks, without one-stitch. You are an inspiration, girl. Way to go. kwilter81
Thanks Kathleen, and all for your comments. This week I'm doing a freehand overall on 3 identical full size quilts. A bit less exciting. Oh well... take care Pat B - NJ Ultimate II
kwilter81
By the way, Julie, I don't have a hartley fence. I use Gadget Girls Circle Templates to do my circles. It works just fine for me.
