witha'K'quilting
Teresa...Looks like we had a few who did not come through with finishing their blocks. Are we going to be able to get 12 different blocks in return? Or do we need to hunt for more patterns to fill in? Just curious...
PattyJo
Good question Kristina. What do you think Teresa?
chickenscratch
Right now I have 13 different muslin sets at my house. I have 9 different black sets, but there are a bunch in the mail. I hope to receive them all by Wednesday or Thursday. I will let you know then.
witha'K'quilting
Thanks Teresa. I made a 13th block of the one that I sent (and kept it)...so I will not need one of mine if there are other ladies to give it to. I know there were ladies who were willing to get either muslin or black. Hopefully we have enough.
bobbi
I'm excited too! I had made the "flying Dutchman" blocks, and had so many little black and different colored triangles, I put them all together for the sashing OR the border, which ever I have enough for.... I think I have around 120 little triangles that are all about 2" or more... YAY! Can't wait! AND, if there aren't 12 blocks, that's ok, I can make more - I certainly have plenty of fabric left! Boni
I found some hazelnut fabric today at Fabric Depot, by RJR, Farmer's Market. I can hardly wait to see the blocks and start planning the placement. I love fall colors, and that hazelnut fabric will be a major element in my quilt--or at least a goodly portion. Thanks again Teresa, I can never say it enough. And thanks to everyone who contributed blocks. I'm on a roll to finish my 30's quilt so I can start on the fall one soon. EXCITED I am too. chickenscratch
Is there anybody whose blocks I have not received, who has mailed them (other than Bobbi and Becky and Dawn)? Is anybody mailing late? I am trying to figure out if we can wrap this thing up or not.
Boni
Bringing back to top. If no one responds, I'd say go for it. If there are at least 12 blocks, I'm OK to go! I suppose you could put the late blocks up for grabs if there are any. Just a thought.
bobbipatillo
Becky's and my blocks today you would have posted it. I promise they went out Monday morning via USPS. I know everyone is anxiously waiting. I pray they get there tomorrow. Bobbi
