doodlebug
the green one is from a 20lb bag, and you can get two from a 40lb bag....there's no 'measurements' in this.... i'm gonna call them "doggie bags"
Liam
What a great idea! I use the same type of dog food, but never thought of reusing the bags for anything other than garbage bags.

Merryjo2003
Well, they used feed sacks long ago, so why not! I think you should market that idea. Very fun and there's enough animal lovers to sell them like hotcakes! Come one now, people have gotten rich off of lessor ideas. Then we can all say we knew her before she was so famous! IBQLTN2
I would add that these type of bags a extremely heavy duty as everytime we empty a dog food bag my husband saves it to collect and store golf balls. He collects them in his golf bag as he walks along the edge of the woods or in the woods and then empties them into these bags in his car. when it is full he puts the bags in our shed or into a large garbage can. You can imagine what our shed is full up with. I always tease him that when I hear on the news about massive glass breakage inicdent on the interstate it will be from him getting rear ended and his golf balls bouncing all over the interestate, as the back of his car is always full of golf balls rolling all over the trunk or hatch area. Can't you just see it happening!!!:P:P

quiltmonkey
I'm gonna show Shannon's creation to my guild member, Eddy. She is known as "The Bag Lady" because she teaches all of the guild classes on sewing the beautiful bags. She'll get a giggle out of this! Maybe she'll even teach a class!! I think my guild members would love to make these.
