newellyn
Sorry for the delay in posting this, time just seems to rush by. The actual name of the recipe is Cherry Delight but it can be Raspberry, Blueberry, Marionberry or what ever berry pie filling you want. Cherry Delight 1 Cup Butter (melted) 2 Cups Flour 1 Cup Walnuts (crushed) 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar Mix the above ingredients and pat in 13 X 9 pan ( I use glass) Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool completely, then poke all over with a fork. 8 Oz. Cream Cheese (softened) 1 Cup Powdered Sugar 1 Tsp. Granulated Sugar 12 Oz. Cool Whip Whip Cream chees until smooth, add sugars. Fold in cool whip. Pour over cooled, poked crust. Top with 2 cans Cherry Pie Filling and chill 10 - 12 hours. Try it you'll really LIKE it. quiltmonkey
Mmmm! Anything with berries and I am right on that! Would it be OK to use real whipped cream instead of the Cool Whip?

newellyn
Shana, I've never tried real whipped creme so am not sure how it would do. I might be afraid of it separating. Let me know if you try it and how it works out.

meg_marsh
Lydna - thought I would let you know that I made your desert for the company picnic this weekend. Actually did change a bit - used pre-made grahmcracker tart crusts and then put blue berries on 1/2 of them and the raspberries on the other 1/2. Big hit!!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Yummy!!
