IBQLTN2
Sylvia what do you use to stablize your blocks? I have several tee shirts waiting to be done into a quilt and I don't know what would be best to stablize with. You seem to do so many you must have a favorite. Thanks
kimmiequilts
Jeanne I use Stacy Shape Flex, I believe it's made by pellon. It's a woven fusible interfacing and works really well with the t-shirts. My friend makes these quilts for a business and it's the only stabilizer she will use! JustSewSimple
I buy a bolt from P&B textiles and buy the least expensive I can get. If I am in a hurry and can get to JoAnns I get the 99 Cents a yard. I just need for the t-shirt to be still for just a minute or two, then it can act anyway it wants. So I go for the inexpensive stuff and smile. I am not up and at em just yet. I go back to the dr. in the morning and I hope he releases me. At some point every day I have a "bad spell" where I have the cramps so bad (sorry men) that I have to sit down. It almost makes me pass out. Then it goes away after about 10-15 minutes and I am back at em again. I am slow but steady. AND, I am NOT complaining. I am singing God's praises that I am doing so well. Nancy Jo I am thinking about having you a bit closer to Christmas. Does that sound good?
