PattyJo
Ok, Linda R gave you a bit of a rundown of todays fun and frivolity on the other Moxie thread. Below are some of the pictures that were taken today. Our first on the list is Bonnie AKA BonBon and her bag made from the selvages from fabrics she has used. Really Cute The next 2 pics were pieced by Rosie and were made from her customer's husband's (who passed away) shirts. The first one for her customer and the 2nd one for the daughter This next one is Jill's round robin quilt And Jill's "Pickle" quilt (sorry Jill even though I asked you twice the name of it I just can't remember) The next 2 were made by BrendaLee and both were beautiful \\\\ The next is Barb M's Eye Catching quilt that she has in her show booth This next one is Linda R's Christmas quilt and probably looks familiar to most of us Sheila made this next one and was a "Stash Buster" This is Debbie's baby quilt and the blocks were made many years ago for her first baby, but are just now getting put together for her grandchild. Thanks for looking. I tried to take pics of all of us there but everyone's mouths were always blurry - you know what that means. We all talk at the same time non-stop! The only reason BonBon's pic turned out good was cause I told her to stop talking!!! :P:D We all sure do have fun. Thanks for looking. And if there are other pics out there that were taken, maybe we can all post them here in one spot! OK?

I think she's still buried under fat quarters and stray bolts at Fabric Depot......

Now I know that I saw her posting all about the meeting and describing the different quilts as well as Melora's beautiful home. But her post disappeared. Where or where did it go???? Linda, did you remove it? OK, I'm going to bed and let the techno folks figure this one out. I really did see it. Really i did..........:o:o:o

Really i did..........:o:o:o Sorry Pat--I did a long post and then thought it was dumb to describe everything when I had photos in my camera I was too tired to upload and edit and then post. Did you hear music from the Twilight Zone-doo doo DOO doo?:o I will add that Melora was a fun and gracious host with a great Craftsman-style home filled with beautiful woodwork and antiques. Plus she showed us binding on the longarm techniques--including scalloped binding. Pat brought rulers to try out--I will be doing clamshells and rope borders very soon! The friendship, laughter, advice, food, and shared projects were of course what keeps us all smiling and coming back. Four of us headed to fabric Depot after and did some retail therapy. I can't wait to see Barb's French Braid and Pat's soon to be entry in a show.
PattyJo
Oh Linda, thank you - I really thought that I was loosing my mind. Now, I don't have to follow through with making an appointment to the Dr's to see if my mind was still in place:)

PattyJo
MB - yep, I think if I call ahead, a group rate could be arranged. I could bring along all my little friends that talk to me and I'm sure they could get the same rate! Right??? Or what do you think? At least they all know me well!:D:D OK, now I think I may have gone in a wrong direction. Where is my GPS when I need it??
Mary Beth
I don't think a GPS can help you in that "direction". Although we have customers who need a little more direction then we can give So...what announcement are we missing....I feel like I am out of the loop. I can't attend every Moxie meeting to know the scoop all the time. By the way....you girls never disappoint. The quilts posted here from your meeting are just beautiful. PattyJo
I think that the final date decided on for our next Moxie meeting was for May 1, 2010 and we will be meeting at Debbie Z's home in Portland. If I'm wrong on this, please correct the info. OK?!
