kennan100
Chris, I soo wish I could get out of work to come take you on a shop hop of Houston! I am stuck between work and helping out with my Mom, who has not been well for a couple of weeks now. I hope Houston shows you lots of good hospitality, wish we could meet! veg-girl
Well it sounds as if you're all having too much fun.. This will be one experience you won't forget. I hope you all get back sooner than scheduled. Virgin have said they have so many people double booked on planes that they aren't sure just how many passengers they still have to fly home. CWBowser
Glad you girls are putting your talents to good use. I don't own an i-pad but the cozy is great! Hang in there you will be back home soon hopefully. Have fun!!!
ranunculas
I just realized how close you guys will be to my retreat this weekend. If you are still around and are up for a drive, google maps, show that Elizaville, New York is just about a 40 minute drive from Lakeville, Ct.... about 22 miles. IF you want to come meet a bunch of nice quilting ladies... like art quilter, Jane Davila (it is her business that sponsors the retreat) send me an email at rfvaldes@us.ibm.com..... It is a great area and Lakeville, Ct is a wonderful little town with galleries and the Harney Tea company store, etc... It would be sewwww;) much fun... the 50 of us just sew all weekend and about 20, including me, stay until Monday morning.

Quilting Heidi
LOL Linzi are you recovering or are they? I assume you went to the Joanns in Albany on Central Ave.
Primitive1
I remember going into the Joanns in Seattle just as soon as I got off of the plane from Alaska, it was overwhelming and sooooo exciting!
Dave & DeLoa Jones
Hi Linzi and Tracy, I was wondering what you may have been up to. We just got back last night from MQX. We did a couple of service calls and a set up on the way home. I know how glad I am to be home so I hope you make it soon. In the meantime you are having too much fun. Much jealousy is happening on the forum I see.
sewlinzi
We have to take Siana to Albany on Saturday so probably won't go to CT but thank you for your kind invitation! Just bought some cool skull fabric, don 't know what for yet... Must finish spring cleaning Bonnie's studio then tackle a yurt panel as we have a whole other week here! Bought Milli some tats but haven't been to a real tat shop myself...!
Linda G. Craig
Linzi, Another whole week! Yikes! I heard this morning that planes are starting to fly, but maybe it's not in your area, I'm not sure. So nice that you can play in Bonnie's Studio and of course fabric shop! You'll have to buy more luggage to get home! :P
mrsbishwit
From what I am hearing on the news the airlines were so backed up that unless you were willing to purchase a NEW ticket (which most likely would be for a date that they thought that they would be caught up from all of the stranded passengers) you would be on "stand by" which could take for ever from what they were saying and also sticking it out at the airport for the "just in case" spot opened. ranunculas
Too bad Linzi, but do enjoy your time at Bonnie's. I have access to my email while in Ct, so if you change your mine, just drop me a line. Maybe I should ask you to come visit next week, so I can get my studio cleaned Have fun!
