bstucker
This is the prettiest Yellow Brick Road that I have done so far. I used Linda Taylor's "Inside Out" pantograph on it. A while ago some of you were asking about pantographs with registration marks to line up the adjoining rows....this one has dots that you can drop your needle into, and then line up your laser light with the next dot as you advance your quilt. Does that make sense?

Bekah
WOW, I love the bright colors!! As always, the quilting makes the quilt. I will let you know if lining up the panto makes sense after I finally turn my machine on:D

PattyJo
What a "fun" quilt. Looks like it is waiting to have a party. Love the Panto on it. It looks like you are really glideing along when you are stitching it. And the thread - love it too.

Ritathequilter
Barbara What a pretty quilt, and your choice of design and thread is a match made in heaven! I love how your stitching flows across the quilt with no squiggles...just nice and smooth. I hope to be that good someday. Rita
ramona-quilter
Barbara, Fun quilt, so bright. My last yellow brick road was all browns and beiges. The pattern is so versatile and really shows off fabric and quilting. Your work is always so wonderful. I tune into your web-site regularly to see what is new. I liked how you used the Line Dancing in the star points of Genie's country quilt and the Hersheys kiss in a border on another one of your beauties. Good stuff. But what I like the most about your posts is the detail you give us; Panto name, designer, quilt pattern and thread make and color. Really good info. Thank you for sharing. shadows4
I love your choice of panto on this quilt. It goes so well with the fun fabrics. I have been seeing yellow brick road quilts all over the place. Does anyone know where I could get the pattern?
bstucker
Thank you all so much for your comments on this quilt! It does look like an invitation to a party. This panto comes in two sizes and works so well for fun quilts, baby quilts etc. Pixells thread has become a favorite variegated thread of mine because its easy to work with, and the color changes are very close, like an inch or half inch apart...very pretty. It's a trilobal thread, but doesn't break often, or get full of static. I buy mine from Kingsmen.
katie.mac
I just love this quilt. It is so bright and cheerful. Your choices of thread and panto are excellent. LindaFritchen
Barbara, Always enjoy your pictures! This one gave me a cheerful morning wake-up before leaving for work...such pretty brights...Thanks. Will have to try the thread. Your stitches show well and look kind of over/under like hand quilting. How do you do that? Maybe mine are just too tight?
