s.waits
I don't have any suggestions for quilting, but I love the quilt! Bright colors against black have always been a favorite of mine. I'm sure someone else will be along shortly that will have great ideas for quilting.
Neher-in-law5
I like it. You can always do the cc in all the pieces, they go quite well in long stretches of continuous work, or treat it similar to a DWR.
sewlinzi
Great quilt, I think something swirly or with circles would work...
LadyLake
I'd do an overall with a fun colored Rainbows thread.
Janette
I love that colour scheme. I really must check out ebay a bit more often for tops.
Sandra Darlington
I see the CL Swirls on this quilt, unless your customer wants it custom quilted.
Quilting Heidi
If you are going to custom quilt this I think it would be worth the time. It is really pretty. I see one shape that looks like a pinch diamond and then a secondary design that join the blocks that form the chain. I'd do echo's of the triangle shapes in the diamond area. Do cc's to connect the chain and stipple down the black with a background fill. I would not use a varigated thread because the quilt has enough color. By using black on the black it will really make the pieces pop.
Kristiequilts
I ended up just quilting in the black. I really liked the way it looked and so did my husband. Sometimes less is more. Picture
Kristiequilts
I made the picture smaller but can't seem to get it through. Darn, I'm going to have to ask my husband... sigh.
barbm
Kristie, check the name you have given the file: if it contains non-alphabetic or numeric characters (like " or /) it won't load. And you can delete the posts where you didn't get the photo loaded properly - just hit the "edit" button in the message pane, then click the box that says, "!Delete this message!" - that will keep the thread shorter, for those who want to scroll down to see your finished product!! Kristiequilts
thanks again Barb. That was the second time I had done that. Silly me. I was trying to be gramatically correct - that works against us on the computer.:cool:
Kristiequilts
Vicky, I want to make one now. If I have to live long enought to make all the quilts I want, I better either sew faster or take better care of myself. LOL
Kristiequilts
Does anyone know the name of this pattern? Or have the pattern. Oh, I could figure it out, but why reinvent the wheel?
